Overview
This rapid climate change vulnerability assessment workshop for the National Marine Sanctuary and Territory of American Samoa is part of a larger project intended to increase resilience and support adaptation for the region. The goal of this workshop is to assess the vulnerability of 8-10 focal resources (species, ecosystems, and ecosystem services) to climate change.

Workshop Objectives:
- Provide participants with baseline knowledge and understanding of climate trends (current, historic, projected future) for the National Marine Sanctuary and Territory of American Samoa.
- Assess vulnerabilities of ecosystems,species, and ecosystem services to climate change including sensitivity, exposure, and adaptive capacity.
This project is funded by the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation and co-led by EcoAdapt, Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, the National Marine Sanctuary Program, and the National Marine Sanctuary of American Samoa.
