The State of Adaptation

Climate change adaptation is a nascent field and many managers are already dealing with the reality of climate change in their daily work. EcoAdapt's State of Adaptation Program is a research initiative designed to facilitate adaptation action by providing in-depth case studies to catalyze creative thinking and by synthesizing information collected to further develop the field of study and action.
EcoAdapt is conducting a comprehensive survey and assessment of climate change adaptation activities and projects in North America. This effort has uncovered a wealth of adaptation activities. The results of this program are used to populate the Climate Adaptation Knowledge Exchange (CAKE), which is a free online resource where users can access data, tools, and best practices for adaptation.
